How to Pray For Others
2 Corinthians 4:4 – In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them
It is overly important to note that when we pray for others, we are not in the business of trying to persuade God to do something. That is not how the bible taught us.
God is not the one that causes sickness so he is not responsible to heal them but you are responsible to heal them (Matthew 10:8). God is not the one that made the person you are praying for poor or afflicted neither is He responsible for that brother or sister who has refused to attend church service. God is not also the reason why that brother has refused to grow even though you have being praying for him to grow into maturity in Christ and refuse to be distracted with the affairs of this world. Satan is responsible for all this. Therefore address Satan and not God.
Stop asking God to do it, much repetition will not make God do it but rather use the authority you have in the name of Jesus and address Satan who is the God of this world who is responsible for that predicament and degree that they be loosed in the name of Jesus.
